About our School
Stepney Primary School has approximately 220 pupils, with 20 of this number in the school's nursery. The school itself is based in a grade two listed building, built in 1886 and opened to pupils in May 1887.
The school strives to be an outstanding, learning-centered school, which is forward; breaking down the barriers, widening the horizons! It is a community of children and adults in which everyone contributes, everyone enjoys and learns, and where everyone is valued. A small school with great expectations.
We are part of the Thrive Co-operative Learning Trust and work in partnership with 6 other primary schools and 3 secondary schools in the city. You can find more information about Thrive Co-Operative Learning Trust here.
