We reward good behaviour and identify our stars of
the week in achievement assemblies and in newsletters.
all lessons that we monitored, pupil behaviour and attitudes
were of an acceptable or good standard. Visitors, including
other Headteachers and Local Authority staff, have commented
on the fact that the school is always calm and has a good
classrooms we have a series of sanctions for inappropriate
behaviour. The school uses 'restorative practices' to resolve
and reconcile issues and problems. Within this, pupils are
accountable for and responsible to themselves and their
are four school houses, which are named after famous Hull
characters: Johnson, Pearson, Sullivan and Wilberforce.
House points are awarded for good work and good behaviour.
These are added up at the end of the week and a race chart
in the assembly hall tracks the progress of each house.
