INTERNATIONAL DAY 2011
On 25th March 2011, we had a very creative day in which we celebrated different cultures from around the world.
Our Foundation Stage pupils learned about Bangladesh, which included them making Mendhi designs.
Pupils in years 1, 2 & 3 circulated between Mr Cameron's 'Australian-themed' classroom, Miss Baitson's Chinese room and Miss Atkinson and Mr Burton's classroom where Sierra Leone was the featured country.
Meanwhile, in years 4, 5 and 6 the pupils looked at Poland with Mrs Phelps-Jones, Ecuador with Mrs McILwaine and India with Mrs Brocklebank.

The morning started with an assembly to tell pupils which countries they would be finding out about. Our Stepney Steel Pan Band welcomed everyone into the hall with their calming music. Even Mr Foston got into the spirit of the day as he tidied the playground!
